Mobile Clean Truck Check across Orange County
Diesel Dynamix brings Clean Truck Check testing to your yard, jobsite or home anywhere in Orange County. North county, central county or south county, our tester comes to the truck.
A truck smog check in Orange County for vehicles over 14,000 lb GVWR means CARB's Clean Truck Check. Which test you get depends on the engine:
- CARB OBD test: 2013 and newer diesel, 2018 and newer alternative fuel.
- Smoke opacity test plus visual inspection: 2012 and older diesel without OBD.
- Visual inspection: 2017 and older alternative fuel without OBD.
That covers diesel tractors, dump trucks and box trucks, plus buses, refuse trucks, construction and agricultural vehicles and motorhomes over 14,000 lb where they fall under the program. Owners report each vehicle in CTC-VIS and pay CARB's annual compliance fee there. Our testing fee is separate and depends on truck count, test type and location. Read what Clean Truck Check costs.
North Orange County: Anaheim, Fullerton and Buena Park
Yes, we test trucks across north Orange County. In Anaheim we come to yards and lots in 92805 and the rest of the city so your trucks do not lose a morning in traffic.
We also drive to Fullerton, Buena Park, Brea, La Habra and Placentia. Distribution, manufacturing and contractor fleets here often have a mix of newer OBD trucks and older diesel equipment. We sort out which test each truck needs before the visit, then run the OBD and smoke opacity tests in the same stop.
For a truck smog check in Anaheim or Fullerton:
- Send the truck count and engine years by phone, text or WhatsApp.
- Get a per-truck quote.
- We test at your yard and explain each result.
- You get the next due date and a reminder before it.
Fleets can book recurring visits so every truck stays on schedule.
Central Orange County: Santa Ana, Irvine and Garden Grove
Our mobile testers cover central Orange County, including Santa Ana, Orange, Tustin, Irvine and Costa Mesa. Santa Ana's industrial streets in 92707 and the business parks around Irvine hold many service and delivery fleets, and we test those trucks right where they park.
Further west, we reach Garden Grove, Stanton, Westminster, Fountain Valley, Cypress and Huntington Beach. Owner-operators who park at home in these cities can book a single-truck visit.
If a truck fails, we tell you why in plain English. Common causes are a check engine light, readiness monitors not set, DPF or emissions faults, or tampered or deleted equipment. Deleted systems fail and are illegal, and we do not help with deletes. Your mechanic repairs the truck, then we retest. See readiness monitors and check engine lights.
South Orange County: Lake Forest to San Clemente
We also test in south Orange County, including Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente. Trucks here are often spread across jobsites and homes rather than one big yard, and mobile testing handles that well.
Tell us where each truck will be and we plan the route. For contractors, an early-morning visit can test trucks before they leave for the day. For motorhome owners over 14,000 lb, we test at your home if your vehicle is covered. Read our motorhome guide first.
Staying current matters. A missed Clean Truck Check can trigger a DMV registration hold for California-registered vehicles, along with CARB citations and penalties. We keep records per truck and VIN and send reminders before your next due date. Call or text (858) 342-8328, message us on WhatsApp, or book online.
